Here are some annoying things that this blog won’t do, I promise.

• Open links in new windows whether you like it or not (if you want a link to open in a new window, use your right-click facility; it’s your choice, and it’s not something site owners should impose upon you).
• Play music at you (there will be no music on this site ever, under any circumstances).
• Become so choked by embedded videos that it takes an age for the site to open; this phenomenon is known as the ‘Curse of YouTube’ (any videos here will be accessed via text links only).
• Inflict PDFs and other non-standard content on you without warning (all such links will be clearly labelled, a simple thing really but so few people take the time to do it).
• Feature advertisements and other commercial content (greycat.org is strictly non-commercial, including this blog; no affiliate schemes here, either).
• Redesign itself every few days (I’ve chosen the simplest design I could find, and it’s going to stay simple and stay the same).
• Be rude, discourteous, profane or pornographic (that includes the comments, thanks).
